Wrap Tee: CAbi
3/4 Sleeve White Button Down: Bitten
Tweed Pants: Ann Taylor
Patent Pumps: Chinese Laundry
There is no such thing as minor surgery I've determined. I have had a ganglion cyst on my wrist several months that has really become quite bothersome so we made the decision to take it out. No biggie. So I thought. That is until I headed into surgery and they started hooking me up to monitors. And giving me sedatives. And I woke up with my hand wrapped in a cast. And I left in a sling. Yep, real minor.
It's actually not that bad- no pain. Biggest inconvenience is having to cover my arm in plastic to shower. AND figuring out what I can wear that will stretch over the bandage and casting. Well those things and how to flat iron your hair with one hand and put pomade in without being able to rub it in your palms!
Many of you have seen my raves over the CAbi wrap tee. The blue version came in the mail yesterday- since it has so much stretch, it was the perfect option to get on over the casting! My shirt underneath is 3/4 so that worked as well!
A little amusing photo below--me at work trying to look my most pitiful.

Poor Leslie!
Poor Leslie! The last time I saw that pouty look was when you were 5and had your tonsils out. At that time you managed to get a pink telephone out of your grandparents just for your "suffering!" Hmmm, I don't think it will work this time.
However, next CAbi party I'm going to check out that wrap tee for myself.
Oh no! I'm sorry to hear about the wrist and cast, but at the same time, I am loving your pitifull look pic. Oh and the wrap tee is really nice. Love that wrap look.
I hope you are back to normal soon! I had the same surgery a couple of years ago right before I went to Cozumel...no going in salt water the first couple of days with my stitch! And I love the wrap tee...just got that one too from the Cabi sample sale!
Mom-- I was happy enough with sympathy Graeters this time around. No pink telephones needed :-)
Hillary-- I took the picture as a joke at work but I thought it was hysterical enough to post! Can you say drama queen??? Haha.
V- I got the blue tee on the sample sale as well! I liked the black so much I called my rep and told her to hurry up and put my name down on the teal! It's an interesting color--it's frankly not a pretty color I dont think in dark lighting but really lightens up and into a pretty blue-gray in light. I've told my rep they need to make it in a red and some other bold colors!
