The best sales of the year

Floral Wrap Blouse: Ann Taylor Loft

Charcoal Cigarette Pants: CAbi

Pumps: Pleaser

Ann Taylor Loft has had by far the best sales of the season! Throughout the last month, they have continually had their already marked down sales prices an additional 40% off! What that means is that the shirt I am wearing today cost only $12!!!! I would never have bought it at full price...but for $12 its a bold print and some colors I dont normally wear and can cheaply add to the wardrobe.

Chopped off a load of hair about 4 hours after this photo was taken...wait in suspense for the next post :-)

Back to the original topic....what store's sales have you been most impressed with this holiday season?

I have to agree with you about the Loft. I'm a huge fan myself. Their petite line is excellent and I'm starting to love the shoes, too!

Talbots has had tremendous sales with most regular priced clothing marked down with an additional 30% off. In the past, I found Talbots clothing a little bit too mature. The chain recently hired a new design team with the head designer coming from Ann Taylor. Since their restructoring of the design team they have really done well with their clothing. Now, I find a lot of younger fashionable clothing that I love. I just purchased an awesome peacoat that originally was priced for $298 for $118! Gotta love great sales even during this economic climate.

Love that print on you, lady - and can't wait to see the new 'do!

I love Ann Taylor Loft too and I only shop their clearance section. I did pretty well at Banana Republic this year. I ended up buying 8 gifts for $125. Every year I also look forward to Anthropologie's Boxing Day sale (after Christmas). It's their best sale of the year.

Looking forward to seeing the new do!

Old Navy sales this year for the basics. They have those lace trimmed camis I've seen on your blog for only 5 dollars this week! I picked up 2!

4 inches! Can't wait to see it! As for the sales, I have scored some excellent deals at NY & Co when they send out those "shop before 2 pm and save $30 off of $60" coupons. I have actually been pretty proud of myself for not buying a ton of stuff for me this month!

I love this shirt! It's been on my "wants or something like it" list since I saw it in a magazine a while back. $12 is a complete steal. :O) You look great.

Unfortunately, I've had to skip all the recent great sales so nada to report on my part. :o(

I have had a hard time staying away from the sales at Old Navy. My husband is getting a STACK of new clothes for Christmas because the deals are just too good to pass up!
I also enjoyed a little retail therapy at the LOFT too! I got a great mustard yellow jacket for $14 and BOGO scarves for the girls in my office. The sales this year are just about the only good thing about the economy these days!
