I've had this dress for several years but I think this is the first time I've worn it on here. I *really* think it needs to be about an inch shorter but my sewing skills just aren't there yet. Kasmira and Oh That Girl both have this and it looks so beautiful on them - they've both also hemmed theirs. Tracey has it and the length is perfect on her.
Wrap dress: Target
Belt: NY&Co
Michelle Obama pearls: Walmart
bracelets: Old Navy
Shoes: Stuart Weitzman
The amount of compliments I've received on this outfit today has really surprised me. I think since I strayed from my uniform folks noticed. hahaha
So what do you think? Hem it or no?

I don't think your dress looks bad at this length, but of all of them, I like Kasmira's length the best.
I'm with you on the lack of sewing skills, but my mom turned me on to her tailor who is really reasonable! Since I can't always find items that I like in petite, I've had her do everything from jeans to blazers. Just food for thought.
I like how you accented the dress with the belt.
If you hem, do it only an inch or so. I think the dresses look most flattering when they hit at the bottom of your knee. Yours is just barely past that. I think a small hem would look really good...but I certainly dont think it looks bad without it, at all. In fact, I think this whole outfit is a very nice look on you!
I'd only hem it if you wanted to wear it with flats. It's darn near perfect with any heel. Cute!
very pretty....love the print and the big red belt with it....i think you should hem it just a bit
oh cute pumps...i need nude pumps
I have that dress too! ( http://tminustplus.blogspot.com/2009/03/st-patricks-day-for-real.html ) You know it's a good purchase when so many people on the fashion blogs have it and still wear it years later.
I agree that if you hem it, you don't need to hem it very much at all. It's a good length on you with heels.
You look great!
I have it too

It is cute on you I can see how people would compliment you!
It's damn decent at this length, but yeah, I'd hem another inch or two off of it ...
I think the length is perfect. I wear all my skirts and dresses at that length and I think it's flattering.
I love the dress and I also like the length of it.
I'm not surprised you got so many compliments - this dress loves you! I agree with Leslie on the hemming...maybe just a hair, but even now it looks great.
You should venture outside your uniform more often, girl! You look amazing today!
I think the length is fine. I agree with Leslie about the length because I hate my knees. This looks like it's barely past your knees. I'd leave a good thing alone!
super cute on you...why don't i ever find stuff like that??? boo hoo...anyway, girl, just glue that instead of getting it hemmed! you know that fabric glue stuff that kimberly used. or some fabric tape...works for me!
I have that dress and I'm wondering where you hid the tie. Super Cute!
I'd advise taking it up a few inches so that it clears the curve of your calf. It's always slimming if you can see the thinner part of your leg where the calf and knee meet. So, bottom of the knee is my vote.
Wow, you look fantastic!! I would take up that hem an inch or so.
You look so tall today, I think it might be the hem, but I dont know. Anyway you look amazing, I was like wow, when I saw this photo, great outfit.
Jami - I wrapped the ties around me a couple of times and tied it in a small knot in the front so the belt buckle would hide the lump.
The hem on this dress is about 2 inches below my knee and hits at the widest part of my leg - not a good spot. I think an inch or two would be good too.
Thanks for all your opinions and sweet compliments - I love how no one is shy to tell me to shorten or leave something alone :)
You looks so fab in this! I think the length is actually okay, but a slight hem would be better.
Very sassy look, lady!!
I actually think that this looks fabulous! I wouldn't hem it, I like having the option of a slightly longer dress because you could use it to layer underneath another dress in the colder months and have the hem peaking out.
This look is super flattering on you and those peep toe shoes are wonderful! S.
You look fantastic!! The length is pretty good too!
