Today's outfit took a turn for comfortable as soon as I got to work so I had to take new pics. I originally had the shirt buttoned and belted. However, as much as I love this Lands' End tank, it's SO SHORT and I was tugging and pulling. I can't stand that, so I unbuttoned the shirt, belted the tank and I was much more comfortable. Still need to find a tank that covers the girls and is long. Suggestions??
Button down shirt: Old Navy
Black tank: Lands' End
Black pants: Old Navy
Patent belt: Walmart
Patent peep-toe wedges: Ralph Lauren
I clearly cleaned up not only at Zappos, but at Old Navy during their Friends/Family event. I love a good sale!!
I really love these shoes and am pretty sure I'll get my $27.50 out of them very soon. They have the height I need with most of my pants but the wedge allows them to be comfortable enough for a day of walking.

The shoes...again. I love the detail on the back of the heel - click through to see it:

Ally,
Cute top, and I love these shoes! I just bought two pairs of peeptoe shoes (a red pair and a black pair) just like these from Chadwicks for $19.99 ea on clearance, but I love these patent ones. Cute, cute, cute. And mine are comfortable, too. I like that you can dress them up or down.
Oh my gosh I have this shirt as well (in fact I think youll maybe see tomorrow posted!) Ive worn it with a green sweater and fuschia scarf. I love all the colors in it!
Longer tanks/camis go to
Shade Clothing
or Layers
They are designed for a more "modest" look and are great quality!
What a minute ~ KT knows about "modest" things? What the hell is going on?! :-)
Super cute shirt, Ally. I love all the florals that ON has this season. Also, we are total pant twinkies today!
i love the floral top..so cute
All of my superlong tanks (all two of them) are from Target.
Ally, I ADORE that floral shirt! What a lovely, springy print.
I have recently become obsessed with Old Navy's vneck tanks. I think they also come in round neck, for those of you who are more, uh, endowed than me. Anywho, they are longer, coming down to the top of my pants pocket so they are perfect for layering. I think they are regularly $5 but are on sale all of the time. I have about worn my white version out already.
I would have totally passed on that shirt had I seen it for sale, but it looks beautiful on you! The print is almost like a watercolor or tie-dye from far away. Great eye!
Super cute!!!
I agree with Kasmira - in the ON picture I'm so "meh" about that shirt, but I love it on you. So fresh and springy!
LEM - That's what I love about them too. Cute with jeans or slacks!
Les - Really?? Great minds!!
KT - Must check those out...
Kimberly - That's what I'm thinking!!!! I bet they're see-through.
Milly - Thanks!!
Sal - I like those but they're too low cut - sorta like the ON ones. I do prefer the length over the coverage most days as they're just an underlayer most of the time.
w.m.l. - I need to check those out - are they seasonal or always in the store??
Kasmira - I took a chance on it for sure. It's super sheer in person and there's no way you could wear it without something under it. Very watercolory.
Christina & Kelly - Thanks, ladies!!!
:)
Sure I know about modest. I am perfectly capable of getting falling down silly drunk with friends while wearing a modest cami. Geesh!
I really like the wedges. A great compromise between height and comfort.
I've given up on long enough tanks. Can't wait to hear what you find.
Abercrombie has really great long tanks, althought $20+ is a lot to spend on something so basic. Old Navy is your best bet. Good luck!
Try one of the Tall sections for a longer length tank - I think Gap, ON, and Banana Republic all have tall stuff.
LOVE the shoes - what a bargain!
So cute using the shirt as almost a blazer. And I love the colors on you!
That shirt is so bright and fresh! Love it.
I have that floral shirt in the short, flutter sleeve version. I wore it with a kelly green cardi and darn denim jeans and nude pumps. I got so many compliments on it. One man I work with said I looked like "walking springtime" and that made me smile :)
As far as tanks go the only ones I've found that I feel comfortabe in for work (they keep the girls covered and don't ride up) are these from Gap. Only problem is that they only have 3 colors.

I'm totally going to check out the ones that KT suggested.
