Let's Play Keep or Give Away!

Floral Skirt: The Limited

Black Cardigan: Ann Taylor Loft

Lace Cami: Old Navy

Pumps: Pleaser

This is only the second time I've worn this skirt on the blog in almost a year. For some reason I just don't wear it that often (it was originally purchased for Easter 2008 I think it was--if not 07). However, I can't seem to part with it just in case I want to wear it one day. I'm sure you've all been there.

I think part of the struggle is that I feel "bored" with it. It's always a black top. I thought later in the day that this could also be cute with a yellow tee and denim jacket for something different.

Any other ideas? What do you think? Keep or donate to "Shop Leslie at Home"/consignment?

I love it! I would wear it! Maybe the colors just aren't something you love? I have a skirt I don't wear and its beautiful I just think the colors aren't mine. Know what I mean?

I love that skirt.

For work I would wear it with a white (or black or yellow) cami or shell, topped by a purple cardigan and a black or silver belt.

For weekends, I would wear it with my yellow flip flops and a yellow, purple, white or licac T shirt. (I live in skirts, T-shirt and flip-flops on summer weekends).

I LOVE IT. You should keep it. Wear it with a Yellow cardigan, and a skinny belt.

This is adorable, Les. I think all the suggestions are great!

KEEEEEEEEEEP it. And it's not at all boring with the black cardi - it's completely lovely.

i like the skirt, because of all the colors in it. you could easily pair it with black or white, but it looks like it also lends itself to blue or mauve.
or of course, you could go with your new signature loquat color, shown in your older post: http://cuteonthecheap.blogspot.com/2009/04/breaking-out-white-jeans.html

Looking like it's a keeper! Loving all the ideas-keep them coming! I dont have a purple or yellow cardi but agree, that with a silver belt would be cute--I'll have to watch for some sales. And I love the idea of flip flops, a yellow tee for a casual summer day. And I hadnt thought to try to pair the loquat color--I'll have to lay that out and try it.

Thanks everyone!

I love the skirt! You could wear a black, white, purple, or yellow shirt.

You can make it more casual or dress it up. I love it and now I wish I had it!

How about adding a little sparkle, like a sequined tank with a cardi over the top? That might give it some more sass. Or you could try it with a simple striped tee in yellow, purple, or even green for a little pattern mixing, and then a solid cardi on top of that. And then the simplest way to wear it would be with a solid yellow or white tee tucked in and a 2-3" wide belt for waist definition. With a lightweight scarf and sandals, that would be a pretty summer look.

Keep!

I haven't read through all the other comments so I might be repeating here, but I think you could wear it with a beater and flip flops for a casual day

It would be really cute with ballet flats, too. You also might want to look for a tee in that more muted purple color. That outfit would be cute to wear to the track or a tea party or shower type of 'do'.
