White Button Down: Banana Republic
Rodeo Belt: CAbi
Yellow Cord Skirt: Ann Taylor Loft
Boots: Maripa
Don't you love how, when you get a really great deal on an item, you love it even more? That's how I'm feeling about this skirt. I really do like it--it hits at the perfect rise, fits great all around, is the perfect length to wear with tall boots...if they had in other fabrics, I'd stock up.
However, I think I really like it even more because of the deal I got. It was originally $49 at Ann Taylor Loft and was on sale for $19.99. Well then they had an additional 40% off clearance. Then, I found an additional 20% off coupon code and a free shipping code.
Final result--this skirt showed up on my doorstep for $10.17.
Can't beat that!!

Woo Hoo! What a deal on that skirt! And it's my favorite part of that outfit - the yellow color is awesome! :-)
Props to you for such a great deal on that skirt! I'm a bargain queen too! :-)
You are right, Leslie - you can't beat that! I love the yellow - it is so unexpected!
cord skirt and boots,perfect!
What an amazing deal! And on SUCH a cute skirt. Since I know you to be a huge fan of brights, I'm sure we'll see more of this great piece in the months to come.
No way! I bought that skirt this weekend! Expect to see it soon! I also bought it in chocolate and tan!
I have that skirt; I love it! I got mine for $30. I thought about leaving it and coming back to get it when it was discounted even more, but I was too scared that someone else would grab it before then!
This is super cute on you!
Thanks everyone- and KT and Kelly, great minds think alike! I had seen it on Kelly's blog before and KT, I cant wait to see how you wear it.
Sneak preview everyone...I think I may really mix some brights and put some red tights with the skirt next time I wear. If you have major objections, voice them now. :-)
I'll object but only b/c red + yellow = BEHS and well, you know. Otherwise, go for it. :)
Im with you, Ally. I'm trying to overcome that mental block but it's hard on me as well! But I see others wear the colors together and it looks adorable so I am going to make myself get past my mental hangup!!
Maybe if you didn't live so close to the school it wouldn't be as weird? I think blue or purple would be fun.
