It's the little things that make us happiest, ya know? One of my favorite things is to check the mailbox at the end of the day. When I was little I would watch out the window for the mail to come and run out to get it. Even now, Al will skip checking the mail because he knows it's my favorite thing to do.
Today's outfit is one of those little things too. The pretty sparkly buttons on this cardigan really make it for me. I love the pretty deep pink color, but the jewel-like buttons really dress it up. I wish I had picked up another color (maybe black?) when Old Navy had these on sale a few months back.

I had to jack up the colors a little as I'm still hobbling along using my cell phone camera. I have GOT to find my camera battery charger!!

I know just what you mean about the mail. I loooove getting the mail. It's way better now than when I was a kid though because 1) it's almost all for ME! and 2) I shop online so now there's extra fun stuff that comes in the mail.

I would have added you to my blogroll even without the giveaway, but I have to admit, I love a cute flat, and a red shoe, so a perfect red flat is just too good to pass up! My fingers are crossed, and so are my toes.
My favorite "little thing" is earrings. I love the way they can change the feel of an outfit so easily, and that they can be had for a song - some of my faves have come from the clearance racks at the end of the season.

Oooh, I totally 'get' the mail thing. I love it even more when it's UPS!

Adore, adore, adore that embellished T from Target. What a great find! I recently lost my camera charger and spent a week using my Blackberry to take my blog pics until my replacement charger arrived in the mail. FYI I found a replacement charger for my Canon on Amazon for $17, if you get to that point.

My favorite little thing is having flat-ironed or curled my hair one day, and then waking up the next day and actually still having hair that looks good and only requires a quick run-through with a brush. Yay for fast mornings!
